Cook time: 30 minutes
2 Cloves garlic minced
1 ½ teaspoon soy sauce
½ cup honey
1 orange zested
2 oranges juiced
2 pinches cayenne pepper
1 tbsp. siriracha
2 pounds of shrimp peeled and deveined
1 cup corn starch
¼ cup avocado oil
3 green onions
Directions: add garlic, soy sauce, honey. Orange juice and zest, cayenne, and siriracha to a bowl and whisk until combined. Dry the shrimp on paper towels, and toss in corn starch. Heat your oil to medium-high and in batches cook the shrimp for 1-2 minutes on each side until crisp. Once done frying, drain the oil, and add the sauce to the pan and reduce the heat. Let the sauce warm to a low simmer and then add the shrimp. Toss to combine. The sauce will thicken almost immediately (about 30-45 seconds). Serve immediately (I like mine over brown rice), and garnish with chopped green onion.
